Critical Infrastructure

Data Centre Construction and Turnkey Delivery

ONGSEC builds a fully designed data centre on a turnkey basis, from shell and core through to commissioning; alternatively it acts as the implementation contractor for selected disciplines only (electrical, mechanical, extra-low v…

  • Differential pressure, airflow and door status sensors
  • DCIM / BMS integration, threshold values and alarm hierarchy definition
  • Alarm routing integrated with SMS, e-mail and SOC/NOC
09

Physical Security and Access Control

  • Multi-layered access architecture: site → building → white space → rack level authorisation
  • Card, PIN and biometric access control, anti-passback and two-person rule

  • Copper and fibre backbone cabling, MPO/MTP cassette and trunk solutions
  • Patch panels, cable managers and colour-coded labelling standard
  • Cable testing and certification, delivery of measurement reports and manufacturer warranty application
11

Commissioning and Testing

The most frequently skipped stage in data centre projects is integrated testing of systems under real load. ONGSEC applies a staged commissioning methodology and delivers the output of each stage in writing.

  • Level 1–2: factory acceptance tests (FAT) and site delivery checks
  • Level 3: post-installation static checks, insulation and continuity measurements
  • Level 4: component-based functional tests (UPS, generator, cooling, fire, access control)
  • Level 5: integrated systems test (IST) — step load with load banks, utility failure and fault scenarios
  • Black building test: verifying facility behaviour under total loss of supply
  • Thermal imaging scan of connection points and reporting
  • Cooling performance test, airflow measurement and temperature mapping
  • Punch list management and closure against acceptance criteria
12

Modular, Container and Edge Data Centres

  • Engineering and installation of prefabricated modular data centre solutions
  • Container-type mobile data centres for field, temporary facility or disaster scenarios
  • Single-rack or micro data centre cabinets with their own cooling, UPS and fire systems

  • Remote monitoring and lights-out operating architecture
13

Documentation, Handover and Operations

  • As-built drawings (architectural, electrical, mechanical, extra-low voltage) and current single line diagrams
  • Operation and maintenance manual (O&M), equipment catalogue and warranty documents
  • Standard operating procedures (SOP), maintenance procedures (MOP) and emergency procedures (EOP)
  • Recording capacity and asset inventory into the DCIM system
  • On-site handover training for the operations team and scenario-based drills
  • Definition of periodic maintenance and fault response scope during the warranty period
